Madalyn and Brandon’s Engagement Pictures

Engagement Pictures

October 26th, 2014 was a beautiful day as Madalyn and Brandon started getting ready for their engagement photo shoot.  They had chosen to use the landscape of their soon to be new home as husband and wife as the setting for the photo shoot.  They had decided to use a few props for their shoot which represented their personalities as well as the foundation for what they were choosing to build their marriage upon.

With Madalyn and Brandon both enjoying the sport of hunting, and Madalyn having the hook up for some of best hunting targets you can get, they were set to showcase this side of their personalities.  She ordered matching camo shirts for the shoot and her parents offered some of their targets for props. (For you hunting enthusiast you can check out Yo Buddy Archery Targets at www.yobuddyarcherytargets.com for their line of target products.)

Madalyn, with the help of her sister in law, Katie and Dad, made their scripture sign to show their love for each other was being built upon and by the LOVE God had for each of them.

When I asked Madalyn what advice she could give another bride and groom, she said, “Decide on a color scheme in advance so you and the groom have time to match outfits for your shoot, and to have props for your pictures that represent who the two of you are.”  She said the thing which stood out to her the most was how nervous Brandon was about kissing her in front of the camera.  Hehe.

While color schemes, props, setting, time of day, and what you are or are not comfortable with doing, the most important piece of advice I would like to add as a wedding planner and former bride myself, is to have fun and enjoy the moment.  I had helped so many brides plan out their outfits and setting and props for their photo shoot, that when it was my turn I was so excited to just be able to say, “It is my turn now.”
